There's long time ago i've not released iMagneto cause of not enough spare time to improve this project. Now, that's done iMagneto 2.1b1 is available for download and test. These last days, i've worked to include the VLCKit library designed by the videolan team and to bind it to iMagneto in order to take the benefit of dealing with libvlc through a native framework for Mac OS X. That means that iMagneto does not require anymore the VLC Web plug-in neither the VLC application to play or record audio/video streams. To run this application you need at least Mac OS 10.5 (leopard) and a Macintosh intel.

iMagneto is focused on the audio/video streams transmitted over the internet. iMagneto allows you to play and record your favorites streams as Web TV or Radio, ADSL TV and multimedia podcast. The application is Tiger and Leopard compliant and supports the apple remote service.

New beta version of iMagneto, an audio/video media player focused on internet streams, is available.
This new release (2.0pre2) brings a new option to turn on/off the apple remote service and fixes the bug about it on the latest operating system : Mac OS 10.5.
